Anambra State Association, Women in USA, Inc. trading as ASA Women USA, a registered 501-C-3 non-profit national organization, is headquartered in Laurel, Maryland in the United States of America, and dedicated to raising awareness and implementing programs to address health and educational issues that affect men, women, children, youth, and physically challenged individuals in Anambra State in Nigeria. ASA Women USA has embarked on several Free Maternal Health, Breast, Cervical& Prostate Cancer Medical Missions, Coordinated Post Care across the three Senatorial Zones in Anambra State and Coordinated the care of patients with metastatic breast cancer in USA. ASA Women USA has donated medical diagnostic equipments to Anambra State Government for sustainability of the programs. MISSION: ASA Women, USA overarching mission is to develop meaningful projects that sustain and empower men, women, children, youth and physically challenged persons in Anambra state, Nigeria and in USA. A strong organization of women, by women, for women, the organization works, through affiliate chapters and members at large to consolidate the efforts of its membership towards goal realization. ASA Women, USA engages in developing substantial partnerships and collaborations with governments and other stakeholders. It utilizes means such as cancer awareness campaigns, medical missions, Post medical mission coordinated care, health clinics, and skills acquisition programs.
