Farms for Orphans, Inc (FFO)

Our mission is to bring sustainable nutrition and economic empowerment to orphanages in developing countries through climate smart agriculture. Currently, we are implementing a program of small-scale edible insect farms within orphanages we support in Democratic Republic of Congo. Insects are a culturally appropriate food source where we work, are high in protein and micronutrients, and are easily farmed with minimal technical or capital expenditure.
