While it is true everyone has struggled with the unprecedented impact of the Covid pandemic, it has had a more devastating impact on the girl child. As the government of Uganda plans to reopen schools after 1 year, many of the girls may not be able to resume school because they lack uniform, books, fees. FOWAC plans to dedicate International Women's Week to create hope in 150 Orphans and Vulnerable Girls in Kitgum to return to school decently, by providing them with basic scholastic needs.

FOWAC invests in women and girls'. Organizes functional groups; promotes modern farming; gender Equity; mental well-being; diversifies economic activities; climate change advocacy to ease their plight and to improve quality of life. Enhancing livelihood project (ELP) will be executed in Northern Uganda to boost food security, income, climate smart farming for 100 female grassroots small Holder Survival farmers; to rebuild their livelihood after the two decade of civil war in the region.
