UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, is an international development agency that promotes the right of every woman, man and child to enjoy a life of health and equal opportunity. UNFPA supports countries in using population data for policies and programs to reduce poverty and to ensure every birth is safe, every young person is free of HIV/AIDS, and every girl and woman is treated with dignity and respect. Friends of UNFPA was established in 1998. It is a non-profit organization, headquartered in New York, that supports the work of UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund. UNFPA is delivering a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person's potential is fulfilled. Among them are over 64,000 pregnant women who urgently need maternal health care. UNFPA is providing life-saving services to ensure every childbirth is safe. Help Rohingya refugee mothers deliver their babies safely by funding emergency birth kits and trained midwives to save the lives of mothers and their babies.
