18 by 18 Challenge is sponsored by Nehemiah's Restoration and is designed to support our efforts to break the cycle of poverty in Western Kenya due to HIV/AIDS. This challenge offers an opportunity to nominate a friend on social media to post a video doing something 18 times using #Beyond18Years, and then give at least $18 to the cause at Beyond18Years.org. Our goal is to help raise up orphaned children impacted by HIV/AIDS who require support in order to grow up to be self-sustaining adults.

In our relentless devotion to assure that Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in Kenya grow up to be productive adults, NR is looking to develop two new community groups of families over the next 12 months. These family groups will not only take these OVC into their homes to support and nurture in their adolescent years, but support each other to make the most of their experience collectively for all concerned in these families.

In continuation of our longstanding partnership, Junction Coffee and Prelude Coffee Roasters has created this special roast of Kenyan coffee. The proceeds go towards supporting Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC's) in Western Kenya who have been orphaned due to HIV and AIDS. Money from this Kenyan coffee will help Kenyan kids grow to be self-sufficient adults! One bag supports one child for one month. Primary school age children in Western Kenya is on the rise and new schools are being built. However, there are little to no funds to build toilets and hand-wash stations. Consequently, children pass germs, get sick and miss school. Chronic absenteeism reduces a child's academic performance and lessens their ability to achievement in later life. Our project will build two six-stall toilets and multiple hand-wash stations to increase health, reduce absenteeism and increase academics.
