Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new virus. Coronavirus disease spreads primarily through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze. The disease is spreading at an alarming rate in Pakistan and so far affected more than 3000 persons and also causing 50 deaths. in this backdrop, CHCS has started a relief campaign in order to cause awareness and also help those affected by the virus and those who have been rendered unemployed due to lockdown.

Impact

In the long run, the project "COVID-19 Relief Appeal by CHCS Pakistan" will help in eradicating the deadly infectious disease from the country to achieve the objective of healthy society. COVID-19 Relief Appeal by CHCS Pakistan will go a long way in dealing with the problem and providing immediate assistance in terms of food supplies to the affected community at their doorsteps. Challenge

COVID-19 infection has become a pandemic which has impacted the whole world. Pakistan with its limited financial and medical resources cannot cope with the problem immediately. It requires policy as well as operational level planning on emergency basis. CHCS undertakes to help the people affected by the infection and those rendered unemployed due to closure of business and trade activities. CHCS besides causing awareness about the disease also providing relief supplies to the poor people.
