Story

Naba'a provides a friendly and safe space for Palestinian refugee children living in Lebanon and Palestinian refugees displaced from Syria whom are living in Ein El Helweh and Rashydieh Palestinian Refugee camps. Naba'a helps support them to enhance their educational and life skills. This proposed project will increase the access of 200 Palestinian refugee children Children inside school who are facing educational difficulties and 50 dropped out of school children including disabled children.

Impact

With our support 200 children & young people will enhance their educational skills and psychosocial skills, they will also be protected from being dropped out of schools and abused by the others. They will overcome personal and social challenges and make better life choices for their future, as the skills that the children and young persons including children with disabilities will gain , are considered as the greatest opportunity to continue their study and to live in dignity.

Challenge

The survey conducted by Naba'a team in 2015; in terms of quality of the education, level of violence registered and performance of the PRL children. The main findings of Naba'a survey shows the followings; - Lack of the educational support for the Palestinian refugees from Syria from their community and parents, which lead them to leave the schools and to work "Child Labour". Lack of psycho social support - Lack of extracurricular activities implemented inside the schools.
