Challenge
The drought situation in Ethiopia and the region has worsened in recent weeks. The East African country has been suffered for months from a drought. In summer 2015, the rain in Ethiopia fell out almost entirely. The earth broke, the cattle died, the corn withered, springs and watercourses dried up. Caused by the El Nino weather phenomenon the result was high food prices, either hardly any water or torrential rain masses, poor harvests, power rationing.
