Story

Feeding the hungry homeless elderly, women, children, leprosy patients, disabled on the streets as part of zero hunger. Every day 100 hungry homeless get food donation, fruits in lunch. In India, many homeless people lives on public places of highways, railway stations and bus stops. Our aim to feed the hungry homeless destitute, abandoned senior citizens, migrant workers. Seruds India works to eradicate hunger, malnutrition, food wastage. Donate today to help us to serve the hungry homeless.

Impact

Feeding 100 homeless everyday. Eradicating hunger among homeless families who live on the streets. The homeless people get confidence that they will get food daily & not sleep with empty stomach. We made a difference in lives of homeless by giving them a good meal. Implementing a holistic approach towards enabling homeless, elderly, poor to reduce hunger by giving food for diverse nutrients. Improving health, lessen inequalities & end hunger sustainably through distribution of food for homeless

Challenge

The main challenge is homeless face the inaccessibility to shelters across India. Migrant, daily wage workers and waste pickers - most of them homeless or too poor to afford a meal. Most of the estimated 4 million plus homeless people in India have had no way of earning a living, with streets deserted, even begging is not an option. Many wander aimlessly, some find refuge at homeless shelters where ranks of people sleep beside each other. The destitute and homeless has suffering with starvation.
