Story

This project will provide food to hundreds of impoverished children and women in the villages and the resources they need to grow food crops for self - sustainability and even obtain a modest income that can be used for other needs.

Impact

Through this program we will have empowered and equipped families and communities who are able to break the cycle of extreme poverty and take care of their own children, being able to provide, protect and be parents or guardians they desire to be.

Challenge

When food runs out, hope is scarce. This is a situation seen in our villages where families are engaged in subsistence farming. These families are living in chronic poverty and malnutrition, lacking the skills to get the most out of their small patches of land. Orphans, widows and women from poor families work on the farms but get nothing much to sustain them. Children are vulnerable to all kinds of diseases due to lack of good nutrition which results in malnutrition and death.
