This has long-lasting impacts on girl's and women's future opportunities. According to ZimFact (2022), there is currently a school dropout crisis in Zimbabwe with girls being more affected. Some fell pregnant and dropped out of school, some were forced out of school due to economic hardships caused by the closure on the informal sector.
