Help Ukraine's refugees to make a new start
Story
Psychological integration workshops, art-therapy, humanitarian aid and other rehabilitation and practical help for more than 100 Ukraine's refugee families. The project is aimed to help more than 400 internally displaced people, basically children and women, from different parts of Ukraine who have been facing the horror of war.
Impact
More than 400 Ukrainian refugees will receive practical and psychological help to settle their lives in a new place, recover emotionally and adapt to new surroundings.
Challenge
The war in the Eastern Ukraine started in 2014 and made more than 2 million people escape from their homes. Many of them went through explosions of their homes, losing everything and witnessing their relatives dying. And on February 24, 2022, Russia invaded whole Ukraine. Cities were subjected to numerous shelling. Thousands of people across Ukraine left their homes. Some stayed at home with small children in fear and horror of shelling. People run to bomb shelters, spending nights there.
