Madagascar - ending poverty & inequality
Story
Our project supports 50 disadvantaged youth in Madagascar to increase their employability which will open the doors to tech higher education in Madagascar, with a goal of finding quality work. A sustainable end to poverty. Madagascar is experiencing a growing need for technical IT skills in all areas, with almost all digital sectors represented on the Big Island, and a demand for digital talent that will grow in the coming years.
Impact
This project will support 50 disadvantaged youth to become digital actors in their local economy, bringing a sustainable end to poverty for them and their families.
Challenge
Only 13% of young people have access to higher education. The low level of education, the lack of visibility and understanding of career choices are all obstacles to accessing professional opportunities. 44% of our students are young women.
