The Muslim Women's Organization (MWO) has launched a campaign called the Hakima "Wise Woman"Program, which aims to enhance the spiritual and emotional well-being of Muslim women. The campaign involves training nonprofit leaders, educators, counselors, healthcare workers, and other professionals to become Hakimas - "Wise Women"who can offer emotional and spiritual support, referrals to trauma-informed partner agencies, and resources for survivors of violence.
