Pakistan Emergency Medical Fund
Story

This is an emergency medical fund - no questions asked - when Pakistani hospitals refuse to treat a dying or injured patient who has no money, as famously took place a few days ago in Karachi. This is a citizens' project and response to one young girl dying when a local hospital allegedly refused to treat her without a PKR 500,000 advance, as reported in local newspapers.

Impact

Saving lives. Untold long-term impact.

Challenge

Injured/dying people being refused medical treatment due to lack of money. This fund - no questions asked - has been created to give money to the hospital in order to treat the patient.
