Save Yemeni Children from Death or Permanent Disab
Story
The project will assist and transfer more than 342 children who are at risk of death. Such children cannot be transferred to hospitals to receive treatment and hospitalization due to poverty and the delay in transferring cases that suffer from dangerous signs. The child may die, has complications or may enter the disability stage. By the proposed intervention, ambulances will be equipped to refer children from Health facilities to government hospitals already agreed upon for the treatment.
Impact
The project will help to create a generation without disabilities and will also help in educational and economic attainment and alleviate the suffering of poor and needy families, since the children of this family who are exposed to death and disability
Challenge
There is a large population in Sanaa governorate, and a large number of displaced families and marginalized camps exist. Activating the referral system will protect approximately 1,250 Yemeni children who are at risk of death or disability, according to data from official agencies
