SUPPLYING CLEAN WATER TO THE ORPHANAGE - SCHOOL
Story
Having access to adequate sanitation is the only way that would help reduce illness and deaths of young children and people caused by drinking unclean water, from different sources, located nearby or far away of the Orphanage and Iwacu Kazoza School. A Well has been drilled and Water has been found; it is pure and plenty of water. The remaining work to be done is to install water solar pump, pipes, build water tanks then to supply water to the school, orphanage and surrounding community.
Impact
Drinking Water will become available to 500 + students schooling at Iwacu Kazoza School and orphaned children living in the orphanage and over 11,000 people living in the village of Ruhagarika and surrounding areas.
Challenge
Until today, we haven't yet supplied water to the school and orphanage due to the lack of funding. Over 500 students schooling at Iwacu Kazoza School they do not have water to drink or wash their hands. This is very danger to their lives, especially during this time of COVID 19.
