Story

The massive explosion that rocked Beirut and destroyed much of the Lebanese capital's port last week threatens to have disastrous consequences for the roughly 1.5 million Syrian and Palestinian refugees who have long relied on humanitarian aid in the country. They were already vulnerable, because of the bad economic crisis and corona virus crisis and measures that had impacted the whole country. At least 43 Syrian workers were among the victims of the blast which killed more than 200 people.

Impact

This project will save the lives of thousands of people. People are striving for their lives right now in hospitals due to COVID 19 and many lost their jobs and relatives including breadwinner. Your contribution will save a life!

Challenge

Lebanon is entering now the worst economic crisis threatening its stability since the civil war. Poverty has become the fate of social groups of Lebanese, and Syrian refugees who depend on their hard currency savings. In these difficult situation, Syrian refugees are most the vulnerable and neglected communities, where they are neglected by any international and national support in addition, the media didn't recognize the effect of the massive blast on the Syrian refugees.
