Between 2017-2020, during hurricanes, earthquakes and a pandemic, 12,800 homes were foreclosed in Puerto Rico. We provide education, support and legal empowerment tools to families unable to pay their mortgages in Puerto Rico. "Derecho a tu casa" has been working for 6 years to provide free legal ed workshops, know your right toolkits, legal helplines, and advocacy toolkits to empower particularly women and elders at risk of foreclosures.

With emerging of COVID-19 coupled with traditional issues that marginalized girls and women across the globe including Bangladesh from March 2020; the vulnerability of girls and women has increased to the greatest extent. This was confirmed from a mini research that was conducted by DDEF from February to September, 2020; when it registered 20 girls for its designed program on Home Economics; 50% only reported on the 30/9/2020 and the balance of 50% dropped out because of those.

During the war, one of the most vulnerable sections of Ukraine's population - lonely sick elderly people - became even more vulnerable. Many of them cannot move on their own and need constant assistance. In total, our foundation cares for more than 15,000 elderly people. Every week, we deliver food, medicine, personal care products, wheelchairs, household items and even furniture to the elderly. Our help can save many lives, so we need to act fast. So we really need help with delivery.

For as little as $15 you can help UNFPA, the United Nations reproductive health and right agency, get 3 emergency birth kits, including a bar of soap, clear plastic sheet, razor blade, an umbilical cord tie, cloth and latex gloves into the hands of pregnant mothers and health care workers as they safely deliver babies in crisis situations.

The heaviest rains and floods recorded in 120 years have struck the people in Serbia, leaving thousands of children homeless, without food, water, warm and dry clothes. This project will provide immediate relief and development assistance to the children and their families. The assistance will help about 1000 children and youth get the essentials to continue education and rebuild their lives. It will also support their parents to concentrate on repairing the houses and businesses.

In recent years we have seen stories of many families where ensuring daily food is a task that is not always achieved when an emergency appears. Time teaches us how fragile we can be in the face of an emergency, and even more so if it is a global one, whether due to something as small as the COVID virus or as big as a war. It's time to create stories with hope with a better future.

By supplying basic dental hygiene items (toothbrush, tooth paste, dental floss, and mouth wash) to the children we service in Thailand, as well are other areas in need, we hope to bring forth a better quality of life to those in need. Dental hygiene kits will be sent around the world to children who may not have adequate dental care available to them.

Taiwan Digital Talking Books Association (TDTB) aims to provide various computer-related courses to the visually impaired people of Taiwan including how to use the NonVisual Desktop Access (NVDA) screen reader. The main purpose of this project is to provide a computer literacy rehabilitation program for Taiwan's visually impaired. Through this project, Taiwan's visually impaired can build-up their ability to independently access information using a computer and the Internet.

In the Philippines, religious conflict and natural disasters have caused suffering for millions of Filipino children. This program empowers elementary school children who are the victims. Inter-faith education teaches students the value of cooperation and diversity. We provide books, school supplies, clean water, and hygiene supplies. In response to the Covid19 crisis, we are also providing PPE's, hand-washing supplies, and nutrition programs for more than 3,000 children.

Deforestation is a global issue that is having increasingly larger effects on the world every day. It contributes 10% to climate change and global warming, which is why a large number of our efforts are going towards preserving large forest areas as well as reforesting the areas that have been effected to try a minimise the effects. By doing this we can combat land degradation, minimise natural disasters and preserve critical natural habitats.

The extreme food shortages and economic impacts of COVID-19, combined with the severe climate-induced drought in southern Madagascar, have rendered over 1.14 million people acutely food insecure. Women and children face heightened vulnerability to hunger, contributing to life-threatening surges in the incidence of malnutrition. Since February 2021, SEED's Emergency Food Distribution Programme has been working to improve the immediate health and long-term resilience of food insecure communities.

In compliance with SDG 7, 10, 11 and 17 (Sustainable Development Goals) and in the midst of this economic and social context, the institution aims to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases by replacing its energy matrix with a renewable and clean system with the installation of a photovoltaic solar energy panel at its headquarters unit, where it serves around 500 families in socially vulnerable situations per year with its projects and programs.
