In Syria today, over 1.75 million children are out of school, and many schools have destroyed. Girls are disproportionally affected. NuDay is countering this with our Future Generation Initiative (FGI), which prioritizes education and livelihood trainings for young women. Imagine not having access to education, healthcare or any basic services just because you don't have a birth certificate. A seemingly avoidable problem but unfortunately it is an issue that is rife in Zimbabwe, particularly amongst the rural communities and orphans. A number of factors contribute to this issue and the result is that children cannot study further due to lack of education, preventing them from gaining employment and breaking the cycle of poverty. In Africa, around 30% of girls marry before the age of 18. This contributes to high fertility rates, increased health risks, reduced educational levels and cost the countries billions of dollars in lost earnings. By providing girls with mental and educational support, as well as sustainable solutions for partners to independently earn a living we contribute to gender equality as well as quality education which will give people the opportunity to make educated decisions.

Education is the key to pulling oneself out of the cycle of poverty and dependency. Nyumbani Village, located in the eastern province of Kitui, Kenya will provide tertiary education for the current 37 students who are graduating from seconday school. This specialized training will help secure their path to successful employment, thereby ensuring their future.

Soccer Without Borders uses soccer as a vehicle for positive change, providing under-served youth with a toolkit to overcome obstacles to growth, inclusion, and personal success. Our program serves over 1900 refugee youth annually from more than 6 countries. The majority of SWB youth do not have access to formal education. At SWB we offer English courses and educational workshops on a daily basis and continue our academics and social-emotional learning with our unique on-field program model.

This project will keep 15 children and 4 university students in school this year. Enhance Worldwide will provide 15 children with uniforms, shoes, backpacks, books, personal hygiene and nutritious food to learn, grow and succeed. The project will provide 4 young women enrolled in university studies with tuition, books, and food while also supporting their tuition and providing transportation.

Between 2017-2020, during hurricanes, earthquakes and a pandemic, 12,800 homes were foreclosed in Puerto Rico. We provide education, support and legal empowerment tools to families unable to pay their mortgages in Puerto Rico. "Derecho a tu casa" has been working for 6 years to provide free legal ed workshops, know your right toolkits, legal helplines, and advocacy toolkits to empower particularly women and elders at risk of foreclosures.

MAITS' award-winning Community Healthworker training teaches life-saving techniques that improve disabled children's health & well-being, through expert volunteer trainers in Pakistan. We will equip local community workers with the skills to support families in their own homes. Piloted in Jamaica we taught simple techniques to carers of disabled children. Before our training, there were serious case reviews with children dying or very ill. After, there was not one serious case review or death.

This project will help empower young girls in the low-income communities of Mumbai. It will provide them with support for their education, access to quality football coaching, education in health and hygiene, sanitary materials, supplementary nutrition and national and international exposure visits.

Our project will provide marimba (African Xylophone) training to a 150 disadvantaged children in the township of Alexandra one of Johannesburg's oldest and poorest townships with limited services and opportunities for children. We will supply a full set of Marimbas, teaching equipment and training to implement the program. Marimbas offer opportunities to keep children off the streets and holistic educational benefits. We have the expertise and experience to deliver on our mission

Inequalities created by climate change, conflict and COVID-19 threaten the lives of the families we work with. Now more than ever they need the programmes we have developed over 20 years that support every family member. Girls protected from teenage pregnancy so they finish school and have better options in life; boys given tools and direction needed to grow into responsible men; mothers kept safe in pregnancy and childbirth; men and women with life skills for growth and empowerment.
