Women in power build better worlds for everyone because we recognize that the women's empowerment movement needs to be more inclusive to succeed. The idea that women must fight for women is not working, and it is time for men to join the movement toward gender equality (Kimmel, 2013). Therefore, we focus on placing more women in positions of power, not to exclude men, but because we believe that gender diversity in leadership positions leads to more effective decision-making and a more equitable society for all (Eagly & Carli, 2007).

Research has shown that gender-diverse leadership teams are more effective in achieving organizational goals, improving financial performance, and enhancing overall innovation (Catalyst, 2019). Furthermore, a study by the World Economic Forum found that companies with higher gender diversity on their boards had a higher return on equity and a higher return on investment than those with lower gender diversity (World Economic Forum, 2019).

Therefore, by placing more women in positions of power, we can create a more just and equitable society for all. We believe that men can be powerful allies in this effort and that gender equality is essential for progressing toward a better world for everyone.

The Women In Power Campaign builds on the historical legacy of the women's movement, which began with the fight for suffrage and evolved to address a range of issues related to women's empowerment. The movement aimed to secure fundamental rights and opportunities for women and challenge traditional gender roles and assumptions about women's abilities and potential (Cott, 2000).

However, despite the progress made by the women's movement, women continue to face barriers in the political, economic, and social spheres. Women are underrepresented in leadership positions in government, business, and civil society, limiting their ability to effect change and contribute to society fully (UN Women, 2021).

We invite you to join us in this effort by supporting our campaign and helping us remove barriers, create opportunities, and build a world where women have an equal voice in decision-making. Together, we can work towards a future where women are empowered to reach their full potential and contribute to a better world for all.

The Women In Power Campaign is a 12-month initiative aimed at removing barriers, creating opportunities, and placing more women in positions of power. Our nonprofit organization, the Intuitive Foundation, is committed to raising $1.2 million for local charities across 12 cities to support their work in empowering women. Our tagline, "Women in power build better worlds for everyone," reflects our belief that women's empowerment is not just about achieving equality for women but creating a more just and fair society for all.
