With you as an ally this project can grant 900 indigenous children in hostile home environments access to cultural educational workshops. Due to natural disasters and the ongoing global pandemic caused by COVID 19 most of these children are currently living in limited education conditions. The Art and Heritage Route School program will provide an opportunity to enhance these children's zapotec identity & heritage.

In September 2017 many villages of Oaxaca, South of Mexico, were heavily damaged by an earthquake. Una Mano Para Oaxaca aims to provide education for local people to improve their living conditions. At our Community Center indigenous Zapotec women learn about traditional trades in order to increase their income and rebuild their houses. This educational model strengthens their collective voice and power, through healing, self-esteem, cultural and artistic workshops for women and their children.

Indigenous women from Oaxaca seek to guarantee their right to a proper health program during this pandemic. You can make it possible for 90 women to become health promoters through a training program which allows them to elaborate their own herbal medicines and medicinal bed gardens to build a community health center. Which will utilize ancestral knowledge-techniques practiced by grandmothers and natural healers to attend physical, mental and emotional family health.
