The program provides training and development opportunities to enable these young Muslims to engage in media, film, policymaking and civic engagement. The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) hosted an Iftar event in Houston, Texas, which is the breaking of the fast during the month of Ramadan. The event was attended by Muslim community leaders, elected officials, and interfaith partners. The purpose of the event was to bring people from different backgrounds and faiths together to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan and promote unity and understanding.
