Story

This program aims to develop the next generation of young Muslims to engage in civic activities and address issues affecting not only the Muslim community but all communities in the United States. The program provides training and development opportunities to enable these young Muslims to engage in media, film, policymaking and civic engagement. Impact

By developing a generation of young Muslims who are equipped to engage in civic activities & address issues affecting their communities and providing them with the skills & knowledge necessary to engage in policymaking; the program helps to build a more representative & inclusive democracy that better reflects the diversity of the United States. The impact of the program extends beyond the Muslim community to other faiths, & fellow Americans, promoting greater understanding across communities.

Challenge

Many young people, especially those from minority communities, may face barriers to participating in film, media, civic activities and policymaking. These barriers may include a lack of access to resources and training, as well as a lack of representation and opportunities to engage with political leaders.
