Climate Action
Colombia

Our project is based in 5 semiurban and rural towns, located in the metropolitan region of Bogota, where 100 families participate. We promote the consumption of fruits and vegetables through food education and agroecological practices in communitarian orchards and edible forests. We will provide entrepreneurship workshops to improve livelihoods and empower them in their economic development, such as marketing, finance, administration and communications practical classes.

Women & Girls Empowerment
Hunger
Colombia

Our proposal is to develop ISUYAS, the Arhuaco word for weave, we will assist dialogue spaces, where a group of women around the kitchens, will seek, by sharing, to heal and strengthen the social fabric. The expected result is the empowerment and resignification of women's role in the community. Once this social fabric is achieved, they will strengthen their knowledge in farming, food preparations, and we will provide assistance to achieve an impact on consumption of varied and nutritious food.

Hunger
Children
Colombia

In Colombia, 54.2% of families are nutritionally at risk. This means that more than half of Colombian families do not receive a minimum of three meals a day, nor the necessary nutrients to guarantee a healthy diet. Together, we can create community, domestic and sustainable vegetable gardens that allow families to organize their own "Food Encounters" and thus have better access to fresh, nutritious and varied food.
