Story

This project will build a powerful strength for the persons with disabilities in the rural area of Barguna district of Bangladesh. Providing the support and to implementing adequate service delivery in action on free distribution of assistive device. Employing more staff in the office. Also by assisting Government in social service as well. So many poor persons with disable people will be benefited from this project.

Impact

This project will serve 500 persons with disabilities under this project. Disability and risk of disability will be solved by this project. DDEF solution is important because it will meet at least the fundamental needs of Persons with disabilities. Approximately 500 indirect beneficiaries from poverty stricken background this project is working towards helping the rural poor and persons with disabilities by distribution free assistive devices.

Challenge

There are currently 400 persons with disabilities lives in this area poverty and risk of disability in this area. Barguna of Bangladesh are where fundamental needs assistive device are totally deprived. Free assistive device support for persons with disabilities so needs. Persons with disabilities are the worst sufferers as without proper support of assistive devices. They fail to realize their full potential & unable to contribute community and national development process.
